Liverpool Champions League route - predict final matches

It's going down to the wire.

Liverpool looked completely finished in the race for the top four of the Premier League and a place in next season's Champions League just a few weeks ago, but have closed the gap on Manchester United after six straight victories to leave themselves just a point behind.

The Reds have just three games remaining - away at Leicester City, at home to Aston Villa and then a trip to Southampton on the final day - while their rivals Manchester United have four and must win three of them to guarantee their place in the top four.

Meanwhile, Newcastle are three points ahead of Liverpool, having also played a game fewer, and are also not yet guaranteed a Champions League berth after a defeat at home to Arsenal on Saturday.
