Liverpool are set for a Champions League showdown with Ajax.
The Reds have been drawn in Group D for this season's European Cup competition and will travel to Amsterdam to face Erik ten Hag's side.
Many of the travelling Kop have been dreaming for a contest against the Dutch side but Coronavirus restrictions are likely to mean no fans, or at best a very limited number, will be allowed to watch the game live in Holland or at Anfield during the group stages of the competition.
It is a very favourable draw from Pot 2 for Jurgen Klopp could have faced a reunion with Borussia Dortmund or Liverpool may have met Atletico Madrid or Barcelona once again in the competition, while a long trip away to Shakhtar Donetsk was also possible.
Elsewhere, the Premier League champions would have no doubt been happy once again after the Pot 3 draw was completed as they drew Atalanta.

Of course, the Italian side made it into the semifinals of the competition last year and have started strongly in Serie A this term but the world champions will look favourably on a contest with Gian Piero Gasperini's football playing unit.
The final team that Liverpool will face from Pot 4 is Danish side FC Midtjylland and once again the Reds will be very happy as they are facing a side who are playing in the Champions League for the first time after qualifying with a shock win against Slavia Prague.
The full fixture list for the group stage will be communicated on Friday evening after taking into account the calendars of participating clubs and stakeholders.
