Liverpool are out to defend their Champions League crown, and have been given a favourable group-stage draw against Napoli, Red Bull Salzburg and Genk.
Jurgen Klopp's Reds triumphed against Tottenham in Madrid to win the club's sixth European Cup and cap a superb season at Anfield.
With a number of top European sides in flux, the pressure will be on Liverpool to retain the trophy in 2020 as Klopp attempts to write himself into Anfield folklore.
And Liverpool should have no real issues in reaching the last-16, with Napoli their toughest opponents in the group.
