Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson posts hilarious Trent Alexander-Arnold tweet with England

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has caused a stir on social media with a post about one of his team mates.

The Reds skipper is currently away on international duty with the England squad ahead of this summer’s European Championships.

After spending more than three months out with a groin injury, Henderson returned to fitness by featuring in the matchday squad for Liverpool’s win over Crystal Palace in the final league match of the season.

Henderson was named in Gareth Southgate’s provisional squad, with the final announcement on the 26 players that will take part in the tournament due to be announced.

The midfielder posted a picture on Twitter of himself alongside Liverpool team mate Trent Alexander-Arnold sitting on the grass, accompanied by a hilarious caption.

“Even my wife doesn’t look at me like that,” wrote Henderson, along with the eyes and laughing face emojis.

Alexander-Arnold has been in the news out late with rumours flying around of whether or not he will be included in Southgate’s official squad for this summer’s tournament.

The England boss has the likes of Reece James, Kieran Trippier and Kyle Walker also at his disposal, and it remains to be seen whether Alexander-Arnold makes the final cut.
