Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson celebrates 30th birthday in style with perfect present

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has been celebrating his birthday in style!

The Reds skipper turned 30 today (Wednesday), and has posted a picture on Twitter showing how he’s been celebrating.

On his garden, Henderson has had a tent set up with sofas and a screen projector, which is displaying tonight’s Premier League match between Aston Villa and Sheffield United.

Henderson tweeted: “Not a bad birthday present! Thank you all for the birthday messages!

“I hope everyone enjoys the football being back on as much as I will.”

Henderson has now spent nine years at Anfield, and is on the verge of becoming Liverpool’s first captain to win the league title in the Premier League era.

The Reds resume their Premier League campaign on Sunday night against local rivals Everton at Goodison Park.

Liverpool need a maximum of six points to guarantee the league title heads to Anfield, but could be less should Manchester City drop points at home to Arsenal.
