Liverpool bus gets stuck at Champions League final venue Wanda Metropolitano

As the Reds prepare themselves for the Champions League final this week their team bus managed to get stuck at the Madrid venue earlier today.

Liverpool meet Tottenham Hotspur in the Wanda Metropolitano on Saturday as they aim to win the competition for the sixth time in their history but their transportation unfortunately experienced a bit of difficulty over in Spain.

The bus got stuck in a tunnel underneath Atletico Madrid’s Stadium although it is unclear exactly how it happened.

Suggestions were made on social media that some sort of ramp was to blame.

Thankfully, none of the players were on the bus at the time of the bizarre incident and the squad will not begin their journey until Friday.

It led to plenty of chatter on social media on Wednesday but it's important to mention that the Liverpool players were not even on the bus.

Klopp's men recently returned from a warm-weather camp in Marbella and stepped up their preparations at Melwood yesterday.

Liverpool have been suggested to be favourites for the encounter as Klopp declared that Roberto Firmino should feature on Saturday, while Spurs confirmed their full squad today with Harry Kane on the list after working his way back from injury.
