Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp 'signs rare and lucrative Adidas deal' following Nike launch

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has reportedly penned a personal endorsement deal with Adidas.

A report from The Telegraph has stated the Premier League winning coach has signed a deal with the German sportswear brand after previously having donned New Balance.

This follows Liverpool's lucrative Nike deal which began on August 1 with the home kit having launched over the weekend.

Klopp is proving a popular figure when it comes to commercial activity and advertising campaigns.

Quite recently the manager was spotted in an Erdinger advert after becoming the face of the German beer's recent advertising campaign - and has even appeared on special edition cans of the weissbier.

The report goes on to state how rare deals are for managers with Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho, also with Adidas, one of the few bosses who has been offered such a contract.

Klopp featured in Nike's special new advert which they released on Tuesday.

But according to these reports it looks as though the 53-year-old will be donning the iconic stripes of Adidas on his feet next term as he fires orders from the touchline.
