Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has heaped praise on Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta ahead of Monday night's Premier League game.
The upcoming clash at Anfield will mark the third meeting between the two sides since July and the Gunners have come out on top in the last two.
Winning 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium back in July - when the Reds had already been crowned champions of England - before winning the Community Shield on penalties last month.
And the progress the Gunners have made since Arteta's appointment last December has not gone unnoticed by Klopp who had some kind words about his opposite number
"Mikel Arteta has shown in a short period of time he seems an exceptional football manager," Klopp said in his pre-match press conference, as per the Liverpool Echo. The structure of his team is exceptional, the balance of the team is really good.
"He has changed the whole mood of the club.
"Arsenal defend properly.
"All the players are involved in defending.
"They defend in a 5-4-1 and when you have quality players that makes it tricky for the opposition, especially when they have speed in the counter-attack.
"I can say a lot of positive things about Arsenal because they are true, but I still think we have a chance on Monday night."
