Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp heaps high praise on Tottenham in naming them alongside Barcelona

Like most people involved in football,  one of the ways that Liverpool Jurgen Klopp likes to relax is by watching more football.

The former Borussia Dortmund manager has revealed the teams that he most enjoys watching, and included on the list are Tottenham Hotspur.

Danny Rose reveals the crucial factors that will help Spurs in the transfer market this summer

"Whenever I have time I like to watch Dortmund, because I'm still connected with them. Furthermore there are 3 teams: Man City, Barcelona and Tottenham. I always like to watch them," he said, speaking to DAZN.

"Bremen I like to watch as well, but also Mainz - with them I'm still connected too. I also think it's impressive what they play under Sandro Schwarz."

Spurs currently sit in third place in the Premier League table, 18 points behind Klopp's Liverpool in second. At an earlier point in the season Tottenham looked like they were going to join the top two and make it a three horse race for the 2018/19 title, however, the form of both Manchester City and Liverpool enabled them to pull away and fight it out between themselves.

Tottenham did though get the upper hand on first place City by beating them in the Champions League Quarter-final encounter earlier in the month. The Lillywhites now face Ajax in the semi-final of the competition.

Liverpool also made it through to the same stage, and face Barcelona - another of the teams that have taken Klopp's eye.

The Reds' manager will be next able to watch Spurs in action on Saturday as they take on West Ham at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at 12:30pm
