Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp faces the boot from mansion days after historic win

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp faces the boot from his Merseyside mansion just days after winning the Champions League.

The German has rented the pad in Formby from rival coach Brendan Rodgers since joining the Reds.

But Leicester City boss Rodgers recently bought a £5million Midlands home and is poised to sell off his other property.

A source told the Mirror: “Brendan was keen to put down roots, so decided to buy rather than rent.

“It’s unlikely he’d want to keep hold of two mansions.”

Klopp, 51, moved in after he replaced his landlord, 46, as boss of Liverpool in 2015.

The seven-bedroom home was previously owned by former Reds skipper Steven Gerrard.
