Liverpool 'beerhouse' opening in city centre this week

A “beerhouse” is opening in Liverpool this week from family brewing company SEVEN BRO7HERS.

Based in Wolstenholme Square on Parr Street, the beerhouse was originally planned to open sooner, but was delayed due to the pandemic. The venue will offer a variety of the company’s beers on tap and a menu consisting of “delicious pub grub”.

The Liverpool venue is the fourth beerhouse in SEVEN BRO7HERS ' growing portfolio and is the first expansion outside of the family’s hometown of Salford. The company was founded in 2014 by McAvoy brothers Guy, Keith, Luke, Daniel, Nathan, Kit, and Greg who were inspired by their dad’s home-brewing in their cellar at home.

Keith McAvoy, CEO of SEVEN BRO7HERS, said: “The Liverpool site has been a long time in the making, but we believe it will be worth the wait! We have worked through a series of setbacks following the covid-19 pandemic, so it feels like a huge achievement for the whole family to open our doors this month.

“We are very proud to show the people of this great city our brand-new space and can’t wait to kick off and be part of the Liverpool buzz. We have built the bar from the ground up to make sure it is integral to SEVEN BRO7HERS house style but loyal to its city roots.

“It is important to us to recruit local talent in the city, and we want to work with Merseyside suppliers as we grow into this new neighbourhood. We are passionate about family and can’t wait to bring Liverpool into the fold.”

Situated near Duke Street Market, people can grab food and pints seven days a week at the new beerhouse. The bar has indoor and outdoor seating, with space for bookings and walk-ins from 12pm.

The Liverpool beerhouse is having a soft launch on May 27. For updates, keep an eye on the Instagram page.
