Barcelona are reportedly still worried about Liverpool stealing away Matthijs de Ligt as they aim to land the Ajax captain.

The 19-year-old is highly likely to make a move to Barcelona when the transfer window opens on Thursday, with his agent believed to have agreed a fee between the clubs.

However, Mundo Deportivo are reporting that Barcelona are still not confident about landing De Ligt.

A deal between the Dutch international and Barcelona is yet to be officially agreed and until that time, Liverpool could still swoop, according to the report.

Bale offered Premier League return

Gareth Bale has been offered a return to the Premier League in the shape of a loan move to former side Tottenham Hotspur.

The Sun are reporting that Bale, who earns over £600,000 a week at the Bernabeu, would be willing to take a pay cut in order to rejoin Spurs in this summer's window.

Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane is thought to want to offload the Welshman in the summer.
