Liverpool bar to host huge disco night to celebrate reopening after months of closure

A Liverpool city centre bar is hosting a huge disco party to celebrate the reopening of bars and restaurants.

PINS Social Club, on Duke Street , is throwing a disco event later this month for visitors to welcome the reopening of indoor hospitality after months of closure due to lockdown.

The event is set to be packed with entertainment including fire and silk acts and a live jazz band.

Taking to Facebook to announce the news, PINS Social Club said: “WE DIS-GO AGAIN. As promised, we’re excited to announce that we’ve rescheduled our NYE event for the first week indoor hospitality reopens.

“Think live silk & fire show, live music, disco vibes and all the good times”.

The event, which was initially due to take place on New Year’s Eve, will take place on Thursday, May 20.

Tickets for the event start from £15pp, which includes a table upstairs and a welcome drink.

Other tickets, priced at £35, include a main bar table, welcome drink, entertainment and bowling.

From May 17, we are, provisionally, due to reach Step 3 of the Government's roadmap out of lockdown, which eases the limits on seeing family and friends. At this stage, most legal restrictions on meeting others outdoors will be lifted, although gatherings of over 30 people will remain illegal.

People will be allowed to meet with people indoors from this date, although the rule of six, or two households will still apply and people should still maintain social distancing from anyone not in their household or support bubble, when meeting inside.
