Liverpool bar issues update after devastating fire

Owners of 53 Degrees on Berry Street have announced the bar will be back in 2020.

The restaurant and bar, which opened in September 2018, suffered a devastating fire earlier this month which left the venue destroyed.

Now, the owners have announced they’ll be “back on Berry Street in 2020”, but will first throw a charity fundraiser for The Fire Fighters Charity.

The See You Soon charity event will be held at Camp and Furnace on September 28, and the description says: “After our devastating fire last week we felt the right thing to do was to try and raise money for the Fire Fighters Charity after their amazing efforts.

“We will be back on  Berry Street in 2020...but first…”.

The event will include sets from popular DJs Lee Butler, Dom Townsend, Tom Buck, Carlton Hudson and more.

Tickets for the event start from £10 and are available here .

Fans of 53 Degrees can expect to see the bar back open next year.
