A Liverpool bar is hosting 'rockeoke' events where you get to sing karaoke classics with a live band.
Scruffy Murphy's Irish American Bar, which opened over the summer on Harrington Street, has launched the Sunday night event with the band Off The Charts.
People who love karaoke can experience it like never before, with the live band giving anyone who fancies taking to the mic the chance to feel like a real rock star for the night. Off The Charts use their own karaoke screens synchronised to their click track, to make the session as easy as possible.

Wannabe rock and pop stars can choose from up to 200 songs, with plenty of karaoke classics in the mix. Nicola Leppert, business development manager for AR Leisure said: "Every Sunday at Scruffy Murphy's we host karaoke with a twist, giving aspiring singers the opportunity to sing along with our resident band, Off The Charts.
"By downloading the 'What Can I Sing?' app on your mobile phone, you can view a list of songs, which covers everything from Abba to Bon Jovi. It's definitely a must if you enjoy a bit of karaoke but even if you don't get up and sing, it's entertaining to watch and the atmosphere is amazing.
"It is proving to be a really fun, positive and laid-back way to finish the weekend at a venue known for its unpretentious, all-embracing warm welcome."
Scruffy Murphy's has 17 big screens, regular live bands, live sports coverage, pool tables, retro arcade games and open mic nights. There's also a new photo booth so customers can get a memento to remember their night at the bar.
Scruffy Murphy's is at 25 Harrington Street, Liverpool L2 9QA and its Rockeoke event is every Sunday from 8pm – 11pm.
