Liverpool banners arrive in Madrid ahead of Champions League clash with Atletico

Liverpool fans have descended on the Spanish capital to watch their side take on Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.

The Reds are travelling back to Madrid and will be arriving at the same Wanda Metropolitano Stadium where they saw captain Jordan Henderson lift the club's sixth European Cup after victory over Tottenham back in June.

Atmosphere around the city will be bouncing as Jurgen Klopp's men get ready to take on Diego Simeone's battle-hardened side.

And, ahead of the match, supporters have been displaying their banners at the ground paying homage to the world-class stars leading Liverpool to glory.

Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino have all had banners in their honour displayed while a nod to the great visionaries who've graced Anfield with their presence to claim European Cup titles in 1977, 1978, 1981, 1984, 2005 and 2019 was also on show.
