Liverpool Bank Holiday weather forecast: Merseyside set for a washout weekend

After a warm end to the week, people in Merseyside should prepare themselves for a rainy bank holiday weekend.

For those hoping to catch a bit of sunshine, Saturday is expected to be dry and bright, with temperatures set to reach a maximum of 17 °C.

However, the rest of the weekend is expected to bring dull and rainy weather.

Heavy showers are predicted for Sunday morning, alongside wind speeds of 19 mph.

But Merseyside residents will get a brief respite from 4pm onwards, when brighter drier weather is expected.

Unfortunately, the Met Office have forecast a similar outlook for Bank Holiday Monday.

Temperatures will hit a maximum of 13 ° and light showers will arrive in the area between 10am and 7pm.

As we head into June, the rest of the week will bring mixture of sunshine and showers to the North West region, with the odd thunder storm expected as well.
