Those enjoying the sunny Easter weather in Liverpool had better make the most of it as things are forecast to change later today.
The Met Office says it will feel warm in the sun, but as further cloud encroaches from the north temperatures will drop, feeling chilly as the wind picks up.
It will remain dry till the evening and turn unseasonably cold overnight.
Widespread rain is forecast to move in during the evening, with temperatures plummeting overnight, leading to a widespread and harsh frost. Strong winds with risks of coastal gales, with a minimum temperature of -4 degrees C.
On Monday the morning clears for plenty of sunshine, but feeling cold in the biting wind.
It will be dry for most, but with another widespread frost forecast for overnight.
The outlook for later in the week is for it to be unseasonably cold and wintry through this period, with widespread frosts.
Conditions will ease slightly on Wednesday, while it is forecast to be windy with widespread rain Thursday.
