Liverpool band Red Rum Club announce huge homecoming show in 2021

Red Rum Club have confirmed a massive 2021 tour along with a special homecoming show too.

The Liverpool band announced the new dates after rescheduling their originally planned 2020 tour which was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The tour will see the band perform across the UK with dates in London, Brighton, Manchester, Leeds and more.

They will be playing back in Liverpool's Mountford Hall on Saturday, March 6 and Saturday, April 17.

They will be supported by band Circa Waves for their March date.

Red Rum Club is made up of vocalist Fran Doran, Tom Williams on lead guitar, Michael McDermott on rhythm guitar, Simon Hepworth on bass, Neil Lawson on drums and their famed trumpet player, Joe Corby.

The group is often hailed as one of the city's most exciting new bands, with 3,000 tickets sold for last year’s homecoming shows.

They were all nominated at the Aim Independent Music Awards 2020 for Best Live Act.

Tickets for the new 2021 dates will go on sale at 10am on Monday, August 24 and will be available to buy here.
