Liverpool arrive at Wembley as Diogo Jota confirmation given for Chelsea in Carabao Cup final

Liverpool have wasted no time getting prepared for today's huge Carabao Cup Final clash with Chelsea, arriving at Wembley Stadium already.

Over 85,000 fans will pack out the national stadium later today for the first domestic cup final of the season and Jurgen Klopp's men will be hoping to pick up a first League Cup triumph under the German as the Reds look to keep their quadruple trophy hopes alive.

And the Merseyside club decided to refamiliarise themselves with the stadium already, by heading into the ground early and taking in a morning pitch side stroll.

Live video images broadcasted by Sky Sports show Klopp leadings his players around the perimeter of the pitch, which is currently basking in sunshine.

With defensive colossus Virgil van Dijk bringing up the rear of the group, Liverpool's players looked relaxed and ready to take on Thomas Tuchel's Chelsea team in a match that pits two of the best teams in Europe against each other.

Roberto Firmino has missed out for the Reds with injury, but Diogo Jota is in the squad and will be hoping for some sort of involvement.

A win for The Reds would result in a record ninth League Cup on the Anfield honours list, while Chelsea have won the trophy five times.

The two side faced each other in the 2005 final, with Chelsea emerging as 3-2 winners after extra time.

Klopp, Van Dijk and Co. will be hoping for an altogether different result today however with their early Wembley walkabout getting them focused on the task in hand early doors.
