Liverpool is emerging from the Covid-19 pandemic, but the city still has some high levels of the virus in circulation.
Thankfully the combination of vaccines and the less severe Omicron variant have meant that the city's position has improved greatly in recent weeks.
However, the latest figures show that in the week leading up to February 20, the total number of confirmed cases in Liverpool was 1,586.

This is a decrease of 504 cases on the previous week.
The latest weekly rate of Covid-19 in Liverpool is 316.9 per 100,000 population.
In the last week, 13.9% of cases in Liverpool were classified as a possible reinfection.
The latest PCR positivity testing rate for the city stands at 10.7%.
Some parts of the city are suffering with higher levels of the virus than others.
The most affected ward at present is the city centre area, where 88 cases were recorded in the past seven days.
The Riverside ward, which contains parts of Dingle and Toxteth, once again finds itself near the top of the city's rankings, having recorded 84 cases in the past week.
Next up in the rankings is Norris Green with 64 cases, while Clubmoor and Allerton and Hunts Cross recorded 60 in the most recent week.
Liverpool's vaccine uptake for adults aged over 18 stands at 73.5% for one jab, 68.8% for two jabs and 49.3% for the third booster vaccine.
