It's a whistle-stop Blood Red podcast as Joe Rimmer, Paul Gorst, Connor Dunn and Matt Addison shake off their Christmas Do hangovers (well, three of them) to preview the Carabao Cup quarter-final tie at Aston Villa and the FIFA Club World Cup semi-final with Monterrey in Qatar just 24 hours later.
But before they get stuck into that double-header, there's the little matter of the Champions League last-16 draw with Atletico Madrid to discuss.
It's been widely suggested that a two-legged clash with Diego Simeone's side is the worst possible tie the holders could have been handed.
But, while recognising the merits of Simeone, our panel reckon it's Atletico who should be worrying about Liverpool, and not the other way round.
