Liverpool is set to see scorching temperatures tomorrow with bright sunshine predicted as the rule of six returns.
From today people can meet six people, or two households of any size, in private gardens and parks and the weather is going to be perfect for reunions.
Merseyside is set for a dry and bright week, with temperatures peaking on Tuesday.
Tropical air has arrived in the UK and will be pushing down into Liverpool at the start of this week, meaning mild temperatures and settled weather.
Towards the end of the week temperatures will fall again but it will remain dry and bright, with no rain currently forecast.
The forecast for the entire North West said: "It will be cloudy and dull this morning with low cloud and hill fog, and some patches of drizzle in places. Widely dry this afternoon as cloud starts to break up. Rather warm, and brisk winds will ease.
"Cloud will clear this evening, leaving the night dry and clear, albeit for some high level cloud. Temperatures will drop away through the course of the night, but still a relatively mild night.
"Tomorrow will be dry, fine and exceptionally warm under near-perfect sunshine, albeit for a little high cloud at times. Temperatures rising into the high teens widely.

"Wednesday is expected to become cloudier and cooler from the north with a chance of patchy rain.
"With high pressure out to the west, Thursday and Friday will be largely dry.
"There will be cloud cover at times, but the best of the sunshine will be on Thursday. Temperatures around average, but Friday will feel somewhat cooler."
