Liverpool and Tottenham fans surprised over missing player for Champions League final

Liverpool fans are surprised over the absence of one Tottenham player in the starting XI for .

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino had a bold choice to make with Harry Kane fighting back from injury to be considered to feature at the Wanda Metropolitano.

The England star starts after recovering from injury - in place of Lucas Moura who drops to the bench.

However fans of both the Reds and the London side have expressed their amazement that the Brazilian doesn't start after scoring a hat-trick to take his team to the final in Madrid.

One Spurs fan suggested that Pochettino is making his decisions based on emotion rather than form and fitness while another was stunned that a player who 'dragged them into the final' wouldn't get his chance from the start in the showpiece himself.

Another even claimed that it was 'criminal' not to start Lucas after his display against Ajax.

Supporters were also surprised to learn that Harry Winks, who hasn't played for almost two months, is also given the nod with one fan suggesting that 'Poch has panicked'.

Meanwhile, Roberto Firmino also wins his battle for fitness with a starting place in the Liverpool side, delighting many Reds.

One simply replied to the news "BOBBYYY" and another stated "This is perfect".
