Peter Crouch has said that he'd be happy for his son to become a footballer, as long as he doesn't end up playing for Manchester United.
The former Tottenham striker made the decision to hang up his boots over the summer after a successful playing career that has seen him play for a number of the Premier League's biggest clubs as well as England.
Such is the striker's nature, Crouch has been something of a fans' favourite everywhere that he's played and speaking to This Feeling TV , he said that he'd love to take his children to some of his former stomping grounds.
He said: "Wherever I’ve been, I’ve had a few clubs, they’ve always been good, and I’ve always been able to go back there, thankfully.
"I definitely want to get the kids down to QPR [Queen’s Park Rangers] and Liverpool.
"Spurs, I had a great time there, I’d love to take them to Spurs so yeah, I’ve got a few clubs to get around with the kids.
"But if my lad told me he was getting a contract with Man United, I’d say well done!
"Paid well and playing in the Champions League but I’m not sure I’d be very happy.
"One side of the family, they’re all big Liverpool fans and although it would hurt, he would be a good player.”
