Wolves are trying to turn Hee-chan Hwang’s loan move into a permanent deal in January amid interest from Liverpool and Manchester City.
Hwang has made an impressive start to life in the Premier League after joining the Molineux men from RB Leipzig in the summer.
He has scored four goals in eight top-flight outings and his all-round displays have also caught the eye at Anfield and the Etihad.
Both clubs have had him watched several times, with Liverpool looking at players who can provide cover and competition for Mo Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota, and City boss Pep Guardiola keen to add more firepower up top.

Wolves, who have an option to buy Hwang, are aware that admiring glances are being cast in his direction and are keen to get him snapped up at the midway point of his season-long loan to avoid any complications next summer.
The 25-year-old South Korea international joined German outfit Leipzig in 2020 from RB Salzburg after five years in Austria.
He scored on his Wolves debut as a second-half substitute at Watford, hit both goals in the 2-1 victory over Newcastle and was also on target in the 1-1 draw with Leeds.
On Thursday, he scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot as South Korea beat the United Arab Emirates 1-0 in a World Cup qualifier.
The former Salzburg is already a fan favourite in the West Midlands, winning the vote for the club's player of the month award for October.
Hwang has been an integral part of the impressive start to life boss Bruno Lage has enjoyed since taking the reins at the Molineux.

Wolves currently sit 11th in the Premier League table - all the more admirable considering their dismal start to the campaign.
Of their last six league fixtures, Wolves have picked up a win in four, drawing once before falling to a defeat against Patrick Vieira's Crystal Palace side in the last clash before the international break.
Both Lage and those above him in the Wolves hierarchy will be desperate to secure Hwang's signature on a permanent basis before a number of big-six clubs start to mount serious moves for his services.
Lage publicly stated his desire to keep the forward, saying of his options out wide: “I hope the four wingers can stay with us because I’m very happy with them. Not only Hwang, (Francisco) Trincao, Daniel (Podence) and Adama because they can give us different solutions.”
But Wolves now have little margin for error in their negotiations given the stature of the other clubs monitoring Hwang's situation.
