Liverpool have been handed a timely boost ahead of this weekend's Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur.
The Reds are looking to get back to winning ways domestically after seeing their 100 per cent winning start to the season ended in a 1-1 draw against bitter rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford last Sunday.
They did respond in style against Genk in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
A brace from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain sent Liverpool on their way to a comfortable 4-1 in Belgium.
Sadio Mane was also on the scoresheet as was Mohamed Salah.
The Egypt international missed the draw against Man United with an ankle problem and Jurgen Klopp discussed the forward's injury ahead of the Genk game.
"Mo was not ready so that's how it is, he couldn't train with the team, I don't where it came from that everybody said he will play, there was pretty much no chance for today, but maybe for Wednesday, we will see," he said.
And the good news on the fitness front for the hosts ahead of the game is that Salah played the entire 90 minutes against Genk.
As a result, he should be in contention to face Spurs in what will be a massive boost for the Reds and Klopp.
Provided there's no injury setback, Salah is likely to replace Divock Origi in attack from the team which started at Old Trafford last weekend.
Thus restoring his partnership with Mane and Firmino in attack.
Salah does have history in games against Spurs.
Just last season he forced an own-goal from Hugo Lloris in the corresponding fixture and opened the scoring from the penalty spot as the Reds prevailed in the Champions League final.
Whilst Liverpool go into the game having scored four, Spurs will travel to Merseyside on the back of a 5-0 win over Red Star in a result fans are hoping can get their season back on track.
