Liverpool and Arsenal transfer boost as Ajax 'line-up replacement for David Neres'

Ajax are reportedly lining up a replacement for Liverpool target David Neres.

The Brazilian has enjoyed an excellent season with the Champions League semi-finalists, scoring 12 times in all competitions and providing a further 15 assists.

Neres' form has led to interest from across Europe with Liverpool , Arsenal and Everton all weighing up a move for the 22-year-old.

Reports in Holland suggest Ajax are set to raid Eredivisie rivals PSV for Steven Bergwijn, who has previously been linked with Manchester United .

That could pave the way for Neres - or teammate Hakim Ziyech - to leave the club, according to De Telegraaf.

Ziyech is another Ajax star who caught the eye during their run to the last four of the Champions League.

He scored in their semi-final second leg against Tottenham before the incredible comeback from Mauricio Pochettino's men.

Manchester United and Arsenal are said to be big fans of the 26-year-old with Ajax likely to cash in on their prized assets this summer.

Meanwhile, Matthijs de Ligt has already agreed figures on a deal to join Barcelona this summer, according to reports from Spain.

The Catalan giants have made it quite clear they are interested in signing De Ligt.

And according to Oriol Domenech, talking on the Club de la Mitjanit programme on Esport 3, the figures to get the deal done have already been agreed.

Domenech claims De Ligt's agent Mino Raiola met with Barcelona representatives in Monaco to thrash out the finer details of the transfer, and that the Spanish club are confident of completing the deal.
