"An Alpha dog, Chad is threatened by Veronica’s life in Riverdale, especially her friendship with Archie (KJ Apa)."

Chris's first appearance will be in the fourth episode of season 5, following a seven-year time jump where the original Riverdale characters reunite in their hometown.

After the announcement, Chris tweeted: "Chad is a really sweet guy... honest," with a side-eye emoji.
