Jurgen Klopp's men are also in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, where they'll face Porto in the second leg on Wednesday, and that improvement has led to an increased popularity and a huge increase in kit sales.
Their current New Balance home shirt is the fastest selling in the club's history, following on from the 2017/18 strip.

Liverpool are reportedly in discussions with Nike over a new £750million deal for next season that could net them the biggest kit windfall in Premier League history, although New Balance are believed to have a 'matching' clause in their contract that allows them to stay at the negotiation table.
But if the 2019/20 season is to be their last as Liverpool's kit suppliers, then they might be going out with a bang.

Specifically, the shirt seems to be modelled on the strip the Reds wore in the 1984 European Cup final, when they beat Roma on penalties in the Italian capital.
If it does prove to be the kit, then it looks to be a winner.
