Livello to host Summer Ball celebrating 12 years of Miss Newcastle

It's been one of the most hotly contested and well attended events in Newcastle for over a decade now and Miss Newcastle will be celebrated in style at a ball this week.

The competition, this year taking place at The County Hotel on Friday, June 14, has been going for 12 years, crowning plenty of winners and raising bucket loads of money for charity in the process.

Over £150,000 has been raised by Miss Newcastle to date and already this year, the girls in the running for the crown have collectively raised over £14,000 for chosen charity for 2019 the Sunshine Fund.

That means there will be plenty to celebrate on Thursday, May 23, when Livello dedicates its Summer Ball to Miss Newcastle.

Held in conjunction with Tyne Tees Models, party goers are invited to "Dress to impress for an evening of fashion, fun, cocktails and canapés in Newcastle’s most exclusive venue - all for a fantastic cause."

Siobhan Sargeant, Charity Director at The Chronicle Sunshine Fund said "As a charity, we have worked on the Miss Newcastle campaign for several years as both Gainford Group and Tyne Tees models are corporate partners of ours.

"Each year the campaign has grown and we couldn't be prouder to watch how the finalists champion the charity in our community.

"This year's ladies have truly gone above and beyond and the events they have organised to raise funds for us have blown us away.

"From Doggie fun days at the Exhibition Park to Easter bonnet parades with our friends at Hadrian School, each finalist has really put their heart and soul into supporting us.

"The current total is over £14,000 with two major events still to go before the final at The County Hotel on June 14. Miss Newcastle aims to raised £20,000 to help us provide specialist equipment for local disabled children, and they are on target to smash it!

"Each finalist is a winner in our eyes!"

Tickets for the Summer Ball, which are on sale now, include a welcome drink on arrival and all proceeds will go to the Evening Chronicle Sunshine Fund.

You can get your tickets in advance for £5 from online from Fatsoma.
