In France's second round of local elections Marine Le Pen's far-right party has won in Perpignan, Anne Hidalgo has been re-elected mayor of Paris and France's green party is on the rise.
- Incumbent Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo has once more taken the capital, with 50.2 percent of the vote.
- The far-right National Rally candidate Louis Aliot, a former partner of the party's leader Marine Le Pen, has won the mayor's race in Perpignan.
- The country's green party, the EELV, has had a successful election. Its candidate Bruno Bernardin has won in France's third city, Lyon, while Pierre Hurmic has claimed victory in Bordeaux.
- France's Prime Minister Édouard Philippe has won back his old job as mayor of Le Havre.
- This second round of local elections were held in 4,827 cities and towns across France on Sunday. The first round of voting was on March 15.
- According to figures published at 5pm, the participation rate was around 34.7 percent; the first round's was 38.8 percent.
