We're joined at 2pm today by Dame Ellen MacArthur, who in 2009 quit competitive sailing to concentrate on environmental campaigns. She'll be online for an hour to answer your questions on green issues such as reducing waste and fossil fuel use, as well as her work through the new Ellen MacArthur Foundation, which hopes to inspire "people to re-think, to re-design and build a sustainable future."

Want to know more about her trip to the Atlantic island of South Georgia, which prompted Dame Ellen to take up campaigning over sailing? Interested in what she thinks are the most pressing environmental challenges of our time? Or would you like to know more about how green her lifestyle is?

Whatever you want to ask about Dame Ellen and environmental issues, just post your question below. She'll be online at 2pm to answer as many as she can.
