A man in his 50s has died from coronavirus in the regional Victorian town of Portland, after the state recorded Australia's highest daily death toll at 13.
The man's death, confirmed late today, will be reflected in tomorrow's coronavirus update.
The record was set earlier today when Premier Daniel Andrews announced 723 new cases and 13 deaths.
