As it happened: ACT vaccination rate hits 96.6%

Canberrans have had almost a week to readjust to post-lockdown life in the territory.

But authorities are warning individuals will need to take greater responsibilities are restrictions loosen.

ACT chief health officer Kerryn Coleman has already suggested COVID cases could surge post-Christmas in line with greater holiday travel and school returning.

Canberra recorded six new cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8pm on Tuesday a drop from the 12 reported the day before.
