ECI announces poll schedule for West Bengal, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Assam assembly elections 2021

New Delhi: The Election Commission of India on Friday announced the poll schedule for West Bengal, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Assam assembly elections 2021.

Counting will be held in all 5 states on 2nd May 2021.@DynamiteNews_ #Elecciones2021

1. Assam assembly elections to be held in 3 phases- 1st phase of polling- 27th March, second phase polling-1st April and third phase of polling-6th April; Date of counting 2nd May

2. Kerala goes to polls on 6th April; counting of votes on 2nd May

3. Puducherry elections to be held on 6th April, counting on 2nd May

4. Tamil Nadu assembly elections to be held in a single phase on 6th April; counting of votes on 2nd May

5. Bengal to see 8-phase elections. 1st phase of polling on Mar 27, second phase of polling on Apr 1, third phase of polling on Apr 6, fourth phase of polling on Apr 10, fifth phase of polling on Apr 17, sixth phase polling on Apr 22, seventh phase-Apr 26, final phase polling-Apr 29
