COVID testing rates have jumped up after authorities urged people to remain vigilant, but remain lower than before restrictions were eased.
COVID testing numbers in the capital were low across the weekend and Monday, as authorities reminded the community of the need to be vigilant.
The ACT recorded 12 new cases in the 24 hours to 8pm on Monday. In the 24 hours to 9am on Tuesday, 1733 negative test results were returned, after the figure dropped to 982 on Sunday and 647 on Monday.
There are 15 people hospitalised with the virus, nine of whom are in intensive care, with five requiring ventilation.
Meanwhile, the percentage of the eligible population who are now fully vaccinated has reached 89.3 per cent.
While Canberra has led the charge for COVID vaccine take-up in Australia, pockets of the ACT have been identified as lagging in the race and pop-up clinics will rolled out in a targeted way in response.
It comes as lockdown restrictions eased over the weekend and many students returned to territory school on Monday.
