Police have taped off part of a car park in St Ann's St Ann's.
A number of readers contatced Nottinghamshire Live to say a police cordon had been put in place at the back the Premier store on Shelton Street, at the junction with Abbotsford Drive.
A large area of the car park is cordoned off and a police car is also parked nearby.
Damon Robson said: "There is police cars and tape around the Premier in Shelton Street. I am petrified of going out on my own now."
