Police cordon off Kirkstall street with officers standing guard

A Leeds street has been sealed off by police this afternoon with officers standing guard and preventing anyone from going past the cordon.

St Ann's Way in Kirkstall has been taped off, prompting concern among people who live in the area.

One eyewitness said: "I don't know what's happened but police ain't letting anyone in or out of the street. A cordon is in place and I got told to put my phone away by police."
