Live updates as huge explosion shakes houses in Leeds

Emergency services are at the scene of an ongoing incident in Leeds this afternoon following a massive 'explosion'.

Several people in north Leeds have reported a loud bang at shortly after 2.30pm, which is reported to have happened in the vicinity of Seacroft and Whinmoor.

It is not yet clear what has happened, but LeedsLive understands that fire crews have arrived at the scene already.
