LeBron James and Kyrie Irving each scored 41 points, making them the first teammates to score 40-plus points in an NBA Finals game and helping the visiting Cleveland Cavaliers avoid elimination with?a 112-97 win against the Golden State Warriors.

It was the third game in a row?with 30 or more points for Irving, and James added 16 rebounds, seven assists, three steals and three blocks.

Golden State, which was?led by Klay Thompson’s 37 points, will get its?next?chance to clinch the title in Cleveland on Thursday, when power forward Draymond Green will return from his one-game suspension. Game time?for Game 6 is 9 p.m. ET, but be sure to log in to our chat beginning at 8:30.
