Live chat recap: Warriors on brink of another title

The Splash Brothers were back to splashing, and now the Golden State Warriors are one victory away from their second consecutive NBA championship.

Steph Curry scored a game-high 38 points and Klay Thompson added 25, while the Golden State Warriors used a strong defensive fourth quarter to bounce back from a 30-point loss and?upend the host Cleveland?Cavaliers, 108-97, in Game 4 of the NBA Finals.

The Warriors set?a Finals record with 17 three-pointers, the last one coming from Harrison Barnes that increased Golden State’s lead to nine with 5:56 remaining.

Kyrie Irving led the Cavs with 34 points, and LeBron James had 25 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists as Cleveland finds itself having to win the final three games — two of which would be at Golden State’s Oracle Arena — in?order to end the city’s title drought.

Be sure to join the USA TODAY Sports staff for Game 5 on Monday, as the Warriors will try to close out the series on their home floor. Game time is scheduled for?9 p.m. ET.
