Trump campaign pays millions for partial Wisconsin recount as Pelosi firms up return to Speaker

The Trump campaign has paid $US3 million for a partial recount in Wisconsin, a state the President lost by more than 20,000 votes.

In Congress, Nancy Pelosi won the Democratic nomination for House Speaker, as she eyes another two years as one of America's most powerful politicians.
