Melbourne Storm have set up a preliminary final clash with the Sydney Roosters next weekend, taking care of Parramatta with a 32-0 whitewash at AAMI Park.
After embarrassing the Broncos last week in Parramatta, the Eels had hopes of making it through to the prelim and beyond.
But three tries conceded in the first quarter hour made a difficult task almost impossible for the visitors, as the Storm dominated the game in almost every area.
The biggest talking point came from a rare sin-binning for the Storm's Cameron Smith, who was given 10 minutes off the ground for two slaps to the face of Parramatta hooker Reed Mahoney.
