Regional Victoria drops just below 5 average daily cases, meeting one roadmap milestone

The average daily case number for regional Victoria has dropped below 5, which is one of the criteria to be met before the state can progress to the third step of eased restrictions on the DHHS roadmap.

However, there are further criteria which the regions have yet to meet and progressing to the third step is subject to public health advice.

Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews says no new coronavirus cases have been recorded in regional Victoria overnight, but urged people to continue getting tested if they had symptoms.
