Live stream gigs and DJ sets this weekend: From The Rolling Stones to Junction 2

With the reopening of all our favourite music venues still some time away, we'll all have to stay glued to our screens to get our gig fix.

This weekend, there's plenty to keep you moving and grooving. One of the world's best known rock bands is delivering another lot of archive gig footage for a trip down memory lane.

Elsewhere, a number of festivals are launching their online editions, with exclusive DJ sets, live at-home performances and more.

Here's where to tune in.

Junction 2

Junction 2 should have been returning to west London for another edition this weekend, but instead the dance music festival is going online with a number of exclusive sets from big-name DJs: Adam Beyer, Anastasia Kristensen, Daniel Avery and more will all contribute.

Inner City Digital

Inner City Electronic, the excellent dance music festival in Leeds, has moved on line to celebrate the city’s scene with a three-day marathon, featuring the likes of Special Request, Ralph Lawson, Freakenstein and more.

Every Sunday, the Rolling Stones are updating their Extra Licks YouTube series with archive footage from gigs throughout their career. Last week, it was taken from shows during the Bridges to Babylon tour in 1997 and 1998. Tune in to find out where they're going this weekend.

Digital Mirage

Grown out of the club scene in Los Angeles, this online festival will host sets from Aluna, Boys Noize, Oliver Heldens and many more over three days. Money raised goes towards musicians and music industry workers affected by the pandemic.

Long Division, the multi-venue festival that was meant to take place in Wakefield this summer, is hosting a live-stream of newly recorded songs, interviews and “other surprises” this weekend. Billy Bragg, The Wedding Present and others are set to take part.
