LIVE set to rock Foreshore Park festival

NEWCASTLE BOUND: American rock band +LIVE+.

LIVE, Stone Temple Pilots and BUSH are set to rock Foreshore Park in Newcastle as part of Under the Southern Stars' Rock Carnival Festival Series in April.

Vintage Aussie rockers Rose Tattoo and Electric Mary are also set to perform the run of shows across Australia.

The Under the Southern Stars 2020 tour kicks off in Tuncurry on April 3, visits The Entertainment Grounds in Gosford on April 5 and stops at a host of other locations before concluding in Newcastle on April 19.

Pre-sale tickets for any of the 2020 shows are available from Thursday, September 5, before a full public release on Monday, September 9.

Headlining the tour, American rock band +LIVE+ are celebrating 25 years since the release of their iconic Throwing Copper album.

The four-piece band from Pennsylvania have had a string of top 40 singles and Throwing Copper spent more than two years in the Australian top 50 between 1994 and 1997.

Original frontman Ed Kowalczyk reunited with the band in 2017.

In 2019, BUSH came roaring back to the music scene with the track Bullet Holes, which is featured as the end title on the soundtrack to this summer's Hollywood blockbuster movie John Wick 3 Parabellum.

Stone Temple Pilots are writing their next chapter, with their seventh studio album, Stone Temple Pilots (2018), their first with lead singer, Jeff Gutt.

Under The Southern Stars is set to deliver more than great music alone next April with the introduction of the Under The Southern Stars Village. The one day festival includes a range of installations and activities from carnival ride to market stalls selling everything from vintage clothes, music and lifestyle products.
