If you are desperate to break into PR and you want to know more about the competition out there, check out this video CV by Graeme Anthony.
The PR professional's innovative YouTube creation has gone viral and made recruiters sit up and take notice — in fact, social media agency We are Social called it the best job application ever.
Graeme's video — which is packed full of humour and personal information combined with digital techniques such as YouTube Video Annotation and connected video storyboarding — has done more than merely entertain though.
Paul Armstrong, director of social media at communications agency Kindred, recently wrote on a PR Week blog how it is imperative PR professionals can demonstrate they are equally savvy about social media and digital techniques, or they risk being left behind in an industry which is increasingly embracing the power of the internet.
So, if you want to break into PR, and you want to know more about the skills employers are looking for — plus how you can impress to the same level as Graeme — join our panel of experts on 1 October at 1pm.
