As participants in PR stunts go, David Sheath has drawn an extremely short straw. Or rather, a tediously long video one. Sheath, 28, has signed up to paint a Fiat 500 with nail polish to promote the launch of a pink model. The PR agency clearly think that watching paint dry will be an internet phenomenon. Sheath is to be filmed for a kind of Lonelygirl15 meets Pimp My Ride in the Big Brother house. The job will apparently required 200 pots of pink varnish, 240,000 strokes and a week to complete. The Karate Kid never had it so good waxing on and waxing off for just one day with Mr Miyagi. Monkey intends to tune in on day eight when Sheath hands Fiat legal papers because he is suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome and can never work again. But at least he might have something to frame: a Guinness World Record certificate for the longest online advertisement. "This sounds like a potentially interesting claim," said a spokesman for the record book.
