Live: NSW Now: Woolworths restricts sale of toilet paper, wild weather to hit NSW

Here's what you need to know this morning.

Woolies limits toilet paper

Woolworths will restrict the amount of toilet paper customers can purchase to four packs as panic buying sparked by coronavirus fears continues across NSW.

"It will help shore up stock levels as suppliers ramp up local production and deliveries in response to higher than usual demand," a spokesperson for the supermarket said.

On marketplace websites, several ads have appeared advertising packs of toilet paper for hundreds of dollars.

Toilet paper manufacturer Kimberly-Clark says staff are working 24 hours a day to meet the increased demand.

Here's the latest on COVID-19:

Heavy rainfall on its way

Ex-Tropical Cyclone Esther will head enter north-west NSW today, bringing heavy rain across the state until conditions ease on Friday.

The downfalls are expected to intensify as the rain moves over south-east NSW on Thursday until it heads out over the Tasman.

Flash-flooding warnings are in place for several regions including Upper Western, Lower Western, Riverina, Lower Central West, Southern Slopes, Snowy Mountains, Southern Tablelands regions and the Australian Capital Territory.

There are also concerns heavy rainfall could cause landslips in bushfire-affected areas where the soil has been disturbed.

Prank call leads to alleged drug discovery

An Albion Park woman has been charged with drug offences after her five-year daughter made a prank triple-0 call.

Police visited the home to perform a welfare check shortly after the call at midnight on Tuesday.

Officers allegedly discovered 15 hydroponic cannabis plants in the garage of the home.

A 30-year-old woman has been charged with cultivating a prohibited plant and will face court next month.

Uber expands in NSW

Ridesharing service Uber has announced it will expand its services to the entire state of NSW in April.

Next month Uber's geo-located barriers will disappear, allowing anyone in the state to use the app including in places like Bega, Broken Hill, Bombala and Boggabilla.

In December last year, the company extended its service to regional centres including Cessnock, Grafton and Berry.

It will make NSW the largest section of land completely available on the app worldwide.
